FAST, FASTER, AND YET FASTER (AND SHORTER)!

Fascinating lately this sociological phenomenon with events and journalism, both live and on the web -- each speaker faster and shorter presentations while at the same time trying to cram in tons of information from multiple sources -- sometimes in day long events! Will be curious to see what the point really is and the sociological impact, if any. Maybe its just a fad.
