Readers of the yathink.tv have overwhelmingly voted and voiced their opinion on the following top 3 'violations' of social networking and vow to resist the urge to do so in 2010 as part of their own New Year's Resolutions.
1. Where I am at the moment (i.e. I'm in China dining on frogs legs, I'm at the dry cleaner, etc., etc.) -- does anyone really care?
2. Daily updates of my children - their habits, development and photos. Just like George Carlin said, nobody really cares that much about my kids photos, etc. [George Carlin's It's Bad for Ya]-- and besides, my kids may come to resent it when they grow older and their photos can still be found online!).
3. Photos of myself or someone drunk, doing something illegal or partially clothed (bathing suit, underwear, shirtless, etc.). It was noted that this is a different category than actual art or art photography.

Producers of yathink.tv find it interesting that these items also appear to be somewhat 'annoying and offensive' on life outside of 'social networks' or even outside the 'online' world (i.e. 'real life'). Your thoughts?
